The role

Oxford High School is looking for an enthusiastic After School Care Supervisor / School Receptionist for our Senior School, to start as soon as possible.

In this role, you will provide library or reception supervision for students in the senior school, after school hours. This will involve a range of reception duties, including answering the telephone, greeting visitors and parents, supervising students signing in and out of after school care, as well as monitoring emails and undertaking additional admin tasks.

Prior experience of working on a reception and competent IT skills are essential. Previous experience of working in a school is desirable but not essential. Demonstrable evidence of establishing positive relationships with children and young people would also be advantageous.

Safeguarding and first aid training will be provided. The successful candidate will have an enthusiastic ‘can do’ approach; eager to go the extra mile to ensure our students receive the highest standards of care and safeguarding.

Your hours of work will be between 15:45 – 18:15 Monday to Friday (these may vary slightly on different days). A degree of flexibility with your working arrangements is required from time to time to assist us in meeting the needs of the busy school calendar.
