Exciting Opportunity for a Passionate KS1 Primary Teacher

Do you have a passion for teaching and want the flexibility of supply work, while still making a real impact on young learners? We are looking for an enthusiastic Year 2 Primary School Teacher who is eager to contribute to the academic, social, and personal development of children during their first years of education.

This position offers a 2-day-per-week role, starting in February and continuing through to the Summer term. It's the perfect opportunity if you're looking for part-time work that allows you to make a meaningful difference, without the commitment of full-time hours.

As a Year 2 Primary Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of young students, helping them grow both in and outside the classroom. If you are committed to delivering high-quality, engaging lessons and are passionate about supporting the development of young minds, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging learning experiences tailored to meet the needs of all pupils
  • Follow school policies and procedures for safeguarding and behaviour management
  • Work with children of various abilities, including those with SEND
  • Build positive and supportive relationships with both staff and students
  • Foster an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment that promotes learning
Essential Requirements:
  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent, with QTS)
  • Experience teaching KS1, ideally in Year 2, within a UK school setting
  • Enhanced DBS certificate, registered with the Update Service (or willing to apply for a new one)
  • Strong knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum
  • A versatile teaching style capable of supporting students with diverse learning needs
