Assistant Category Manager

Responsibilities:

• Manage in-store, online, gift mall, and multi-redemption cards, including stock management and ordering processes.
• Build and maintain relationships with external suppliers and internal teams.
• Serve as the expert on all gift card systems and processes for both in-store and online operations.
• Act as the primary contact for gift card queries from various departments and external partners.
• Collaborate with large third-party partners to deliver B2C, B2B, and gift mall sales.
• Lead and deliver the category's Gift Guide pages.
• Oversee the supply/allocation process for stores.
• Request and manage purchase orders to ensure timely payment to suppliers.
• Support the Gift Card Category Manager in delivering sales, strategy, and new ideas within the category.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Expertise in process, planning, and delivery.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet sales and profit targets.
• Strong communication skills for building internal and external relationships.
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
• Confidence in presenting and leading meetings.
• Knowledge of the gift card industry is preferred but not essential.
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in category or client relationship roles.
• Proficiency in managing financial processes.
