Pump Technician

An esteemed client of ours is looking for a pump technician to join the team in Ellon. In this particular workshop, they are experts in complete strip, rebuild and maintenance of specialised and unique pumps. They sit in the oil and gas sector, covering pressurised and flow equipment.

The role:

Monday - Friday, Full time
Dismantle and record dimensional findings, detailing any fault on the report form.
Liaise with Technical Quality department during report compilation and advise repair requirements.
Repair of components e.g. fitting and pinning wear rings, bushes, pressure testing, dynamic balancing etc.
Assembly of basic pump types in line with the inspection report and work instructions
Assembly of complex pump types in line with the inspection report and work instructions. Assist team to troubleshoot assembly issues

Qualifications required:

NC/City & Guild Mechanical Qualification
VQ Level 3 Mechanical Qualification
Time served engineering experience on speciality pumps
