Job Duties:
- Supervise and manage classroom activities in the absence of the regular Maths teacher
- Implement pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure smooth running of lessons
- Support students in understanding mathematical concepts and assist with any questions or challenges
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Manage student behaviour and ensure classroom discipline is maintained
Required Qualifications:
Degree in Mathematics or related field
Education:
Minimum of a degree in Mathematics or a related subject
Experience:
Prior experience working in a school setting preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics and ensure a productive learning environment
- Organisational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching qualification or experience in a similar role
Working Conditions:
Part-Time hours, working in a secondary school setting, temporary contract
