Research Analyst - Data Team

We’re now going through a period of growth and are looking for a bright, passionate and curious research analyst in our data team to further scale our team.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
You’ll be working in our Data Team, supporting the data collection, visualization, and research efforts. The Data Team supports our entire organisation’s research efforts by creating forecast models, data visualisation dashboards, and helping to align the outputs of our various research areas.
You will primarily be supporting the collection and aggregation of industry news, economic data, financial data and survey data across our research teams. These activities will require you to collect data using a variety of methods from a wide range of sources.Not only will you develop high-level search and analytical skills, in addition we are developing our own capabilities with automation and AI and you will be involved in this development too. The role will also require you to summarise key findings and written summaries about companies, products, etc.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You’ll need an eye for detail and a passion for collecting and analysing data thorough the meticulous and efficient research of online sources. You will need good communication skills and an ability to work across different tasks and projects as part of the data team.
- A bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or Economics (or similar)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Power Point
- Experience with advanced search techniques and/or AI data tools would be desirable
- Excellent research skills. You must be able to obtain the hard-to-find information and be excellent at organising and summarising that data.
- Analytical thinking – you will need to distil information quickly and solve analytical problems
- A keen interest in technology with an ability to learn about new industries and technologies and how they are being implemented
- Good communication skills. You will work with team members across the organisation and will need to effectively communicate with them about tasks and projects.

- Starting salary of £25,000 - £30,000
- 25 days’ paid vacation
Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
