Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant searching for a fulfilling position in secondary schools around Norwich? Then we are looking for you! Step Teachers are working with many Secondary Schools in the Norfolk area which require Teaching Assistants for daily and short-term supply to work in Norwich schools and surrounding They are now recruiting for supply Teaching Assistant to start in October 2024.

Key Responsibilities - Teaching Assistant:

  • Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students, fostering their academic and personal growth.
  • The Teaching Assistant must be able to assist with classroom management and ensuring a safe learning environment.
  • The Teaching Assistant must assess student progress and provide feedback to teachers.

Requirements - Teaching Assistant:

  • Good knowledge of Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience as a Teaching Assistant in a UK-based educational setting is essential.
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification is desirable.
  • Verifiable references from previous employers or placements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for education and supporting the learning journey of students.
