[ref. m58811617] Factory Labourer - Newcastle upon Tyne

We are looking to employ a Factory Labourer Operative to work in a busy environment in the West of Newcastle upon Tyne.

As an operative, you will be assisting with the manufacture of Roller Shutter doors in the automatic doors industry.

• Lifting and loading parts
• Assembling large frames and doors
• Be able to follow drawings
• Lifting and loading doors
• Be able to measure and cut parts accurately
• Maintaining a clean working environment
• General labouring tasks detailed by the Factory Foreman
• Wrap door parts in preparation for dispatch

• Have previous experience of factory work
• Be educated to GCSE or equivalent in both Maths and English
• Be capable of working with minimal supervision but willing to follow directions closely
• Be familiar with assembly work, working with large parts
• Be able to lift and load
• Able to undertake training as required.
• Operate as part of an effective team

This is a temporary role which could be extended for the right person
