Overview
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic ALN Teaching Assistant to support a range of primary schools across Cardiff. These schools cater to children and young people aged 3–19 with a variety of additional learning needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support teachers in delivering tailored learning activities to meet individual needs
- Provide 1:1 and small group support throughout lessons and daily routines
- Promote students’ social, emotional, and academic development
- Help maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
- Assist with the preparation and adaptation of learning materials
- No formal qualifications required – experience with children is desirable
- Enhanced Child DBS (or willingness to obtain one – support provided)
- Safeguarding Level 2 (or willingness to complete – support provided)
- Competitive daily rate of £93.95
