Support Worker/Personal AssistantAshington – NE63
To support access to community activities and occasional health appointments.
We are looking to recruit a support worker/enabler to assist a young adult to access the community with various activities.
Support Hours: 2hrs per week – this can be negotiated at various times.
This person enjoys walks in the countryside or somewhere not too busy but also likes things like escape rooms etc.
MAIN DUTIES- Support to access the community, out and about.
- Support to become more active.
- Support to occasional healthcare appointments to support to understand these discussion and outcomes.
Rate of pay £13.09 per hour. Holidays are 5.6 weeks per year, pro-rata.
Person Specification
Successful applicant must:- Have some understanding of how health can impact on mental health and well-being.
- An understanding of anxiety and the impact this can have.
- The need to take small steps to develop a relationship.
- Must hold a full UK driving license.
- Female applicants only.
An Enhanced DBS Check is required for this post, cost will be met by Northumberland County Council.
