Are you a confident administrator and interested in developing your accounts experience? Do you have/ or are you currently studying towards your AAT Level qualifications? Look no further-this opportunity is perfect for you!

Location: Guildford - Free Parking (Must be able to drive due to location!)

Salary: £25,000 per year + Benefits (20 days holiday, 8 bank holidays, Christmas bonus, Pension + so much more!

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM)

Overview:

We have an exciting opportunity to join a successful small family business in Guildford.

The company are currently looking for a confident administrator who are looking to develop their accounts experience, and happy to carry out a variety of different tasks! - No day is the same!

Some accounts experience would be desired however FULL training will be provided!

Your New Role:

Accounts Responsibilities
  • Manage sales and purchase ledgers and credit control.
  • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and process payroll.
  • Prepare quarterly VAT returns.

Admin Support:

  • Handle customer service inquiries.
  • Manage bookings for drivers (hotels, MOTs, services).
  • Support office tasks such as typing quotations and delivery notes.
  • Managing sales and purchase ledgers and assisting with credit control.
  • Processing payroll and performing monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Supporting quarterly VAT return preparation
  • Handle customer service inquiries
  • Manage bookings for drivers (hotels, MOTs, services).
  • Support office tasks such as typing quotations and delivery notes

Sounds Good?.. What are they looking for?

Ideal candidates will have:

  • At least 2 years' office experience and confidence with Microsoft Excel.
  • A passion for finance and be on their way to completing AAT qualifications.
  • Clear communication skills and a proactive approach.
  • Strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g. Sage) (desired but not essential)
