Warehouse Shift Team Leader - 4on 4off, Night

The position involves:
- Monitor picking operations within designated area to ensure safety and performance are maintained in-line with company expectations and targets
- Accurate receiving picking and dispatching of pallets.
- Maintain stock control in line with company policy and procedure.
- Engage with warehouse operatives to encourage best practice and understand any issues which are preventing them from achieving optimal pick rate in-line with company targets.
- Take appropriate action to ensure any system or facility issues affecting optimal pick rate are rectified in a timely manner
- Ensure warehouse operatives are following company procedure in terms of safety and picking operations.
- Carry out performance reviews and one-to-one meetings with direct reports as required to maintain company standards and targets.
Essential Skills required:
- Previous experience of working within the warehouse/transport environment is essential.
- Hold a current LLOP, VNA, counterbalance licence.
- IT knowledge including warehouse management systems (Manhattan Scale) is essential.
- Be able to lead change, engage and communicate to the team.
- Be able to identify and drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to communicate at all levels.
- Excellent organisational skills and prioritising workload.
- Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
- Salary for Warehouse Shift Team Leader of £32,770.14pa and MORE! Depending on hours worked. Overtime paid at an hourly rate.
- Hours of work: 18:00hrs to 06:00hrs based on a 4on 4off rota including weekends.
