Job Description

The Key Account Manager UK Intralogistics:
Due to a very successful tenure, we are seeking a Sales & Key Account Manager to take over a well-established and highly active territory. You will be responsible for selling complete system solutions including new installations, retrofits, and service & maintenance contracts.

This is a technical and solution-led sales role, working on complex, high-value projects.

You will work closely with Operations Managers, Engineering Teams, and C-suite Executives, carrying out detailed site surveys, reviewing drawings, and helping design bespoke solutions that deliver real operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow key accounts, developing long-term partnerships.
  • Conduct technical site surveys and assessments.
  • Interpret technical drawings and propose tailored system designs.
  • Lead solution-based sales cycles, from initial enquiry through to final commissioning.
  • Work collaboratively with internal technical, project, and service teams.
  • Support the growth of the business into emerging sectors such as postal and parcel delivery.
  • Negotiate and close high-value contracts for new systems and service agreements.

The Successful Applicant

Key Account Manager UK Intralogistics will have:

  • Proven background in technical sales, ideally within intralogistics, warehouse automation, materials handling, or a related sector.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and automation solutions.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and layouts.
  • Comfortable engaging at all levels, from operational staff to senior board members.
  • Solution-driven, with a passion for delivering outstanding results for your clients.
  • A technical background (engineering, automation, logistics) would be a distinct advantage.
