Join us as a Supply Chain Analyst and you’ll be a big part of this.

Role Purpose: To manage the end to end supply of a specific product range, managing the stock plan either through automated system replenishment or push allocations. Your goal will be to maximise in-store/on-line availability to our customers whilst developing a cost-effective supply chain.

You will manage the day-to-day replenishment as well as the stock related elements of range change and promotional event programmes.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for End-to-End Supply and KPIs for a defined category and a variety of routes to market
  • On shelf availability in stores/on line
  • Stock Health
  • Inventory days
  • Stock budget management, including stock exit and new range introductions
  • Ensure forecasting and replenishment is set up to maximise availability
  • Ensure orders are raised in line with the replenishment forecast
  • Create and own monthly stock flows, showing stock movements and budget control
  • Manage forecast accuracy for all given products
  • Work alongside Commercial & Digital Teams to react to sales, execute range reviews, neutrons and campaign activity whilst ensuring smooth flow of stock into store or online is in line with critical path, capacities and timings
  • Provide insight into Commercial Teams on key KPI's on forecasting and replenishment
  • Attend Commercial meetings where possible to represent Supply & Logistics requirements
  • Provide insight to all other key stakeholders on critical path time lines
  • Engage and work alongside the buying teams to resolve vendor performance issues impacting service levels.
  • Manage the vendors within your category, sharing forecasts and maximising availability and performance
  • Engage and work alongside Logistics colleagues to plan inbound and outbound stock flows
  • Minimise amount of overdue orders into Distribution Centre (DC) to maximise replenishment efficiency
  • Manage the DC and store inputs at point of range change and trading activity
  • Provide insight to our retail colleagues to improve the customer experience
  • Regularly conduct store, competitor and vendor visits
  • You may be required to undertake other duties from time to time

What we need::

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in a Supply Chain and/or Merchandising role, In an FMCG or retail environment would be desirable
  • Analytical skills to identify patterns and trends for forecasting
  • Strong attention to detail/accuracy and the ability to work well under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Experience of forecasting and replenishment systems
  • A good understanding of associated Key Performance Indicators e.g. availability, stock and inventory days
  • Experience of purchase management and stock intake to the business to maximise availability and control stock levels
  • Commercially focused with ability to influence the optimisation of product range in store to drive sales.
  • Ability to communicate and influence
  • Customer focussed and experience of vendor management
  • A good understanding of logistics and customer sales channels
