IT Support Analyst

The IT Support Analyst will report directly to the Group Head of IT and provide IT desktop support to all staff in a timely manner using the company helpdesk system. Responsibilities include using IT systems to manage hardware assets and software licenses.

Producing reports from these systems will also be required.

The role requires good working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory specifically GPO’s, user & computer management, securities and DHCP/DNS.

Good working knowledge and understanding is required for the Microsoft Office suite (including Teams), Sophos Central, Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 10 and newer) and other applications typically found on an office computer is expected.

The nature of the business requires a wide variety of IT systems and solutions to be used which will be expected to be supported. There is a need to support staff remotely using VPN and other software tools that are made available.

The role includes the need to configure and deploy IT assets in line with company policies and configurations.

Managing and developing the network infrastructure will also be an important part of the role, along with good fault finding skills.

Requirements

Excellent communication skills – oral and written

Excellent presentation skills – delivery of induction training – experience advantageous

Excellent customer service skills

Full driving license to occasionally travel to different sites within the MacTaggart Scott group of Companies

Microsoft desktop operating systems (Windows 10)

Network infrastructure configuration skills
