English Language Tutor (Transnational Education Programme)

About The Role:
English Language Training Services (ELTS) are looking to recruit an English Language Tutor to join a growing transnational education programme in China. This position will be based overseas in China for 2x teaching blocks and return to campus June - September to work with ELTS on their busy summer programmes.
The TNE tutor will be responsible for the delivery of English language classes in an Engineering university in China. They will also be required to work in Swansea delivering summer courses.
The main responsibilities of the role include:- Teach as a member of a small overseas teaching team within a programme of study in a variety of settings from small group /individual tutorials to larger classes.
- Develop and update teaching materials, methods and approaches and implement established assessment procedures and criteria within agreed frameworks
- Undertake non-teaching duties and activities which may include marketing ELTS and establishing professional relationships overseas.
- Assisting with administrative duties as required in maintaining detailed records of attendance and work completed in each class.
- Teach for English Language Training Services from June – September or as required

These posts require a contribution to teaching, student assessment and supervision within ELTS. The post requires high quality delivery of teaching and student learning and a commitment to enhancing the overall student experience.
