Business Support Officer / Administrator
We have a fantastic opening for either a Business Support Officer or Business Support Administrator to join our national Tendering & Business Development Team, based in Stockport.
This role is perfect for anyone looking to build their knowledge in tendering and social care, with excellent career progression opportunities.
As Business Support Officer/Administrator, you will be part of a fast-paced team working to multiple deadlines and different tasks. Your role will include:- Being the first point of contact for enquiries and communications
- Managing information and excellent record keeping throughout the tender process
- Working on business elements of tenders responses and coordinating submissions
- Communicating with our operational teams, Service Directors and Commissioners
- Taking a sensitive approach when working with individual and confidential tender information
- Research & scoping and attending briefings to support submissions and the work of the team
Officers will additionally take a leading role in coordinating submissions, prioritising workload and more complex tender elements.
We are looking for someone who is diligent, reliable and motivated. You’ll have excellent organisational skills, be able to use your initiative, analyse information and manage your time effectively. You’ll need to be confident in both verbal & written communication, navigating online portals (with training provided), and maintain a high standard of customer service.
Previous experience in business support roles, administration or within a health or social care organisation more broadly would be beneficial but not essential. Officers are required to have 1 years’ experience.

You will be based at our Head Office, working with our small, friendly and busy Tendering Team. Some home working is also available (please detail in your application to discuss at interview). Interviews will be held 26 through 28 March 2025.
