What the Role Will Involve:
- Support deaf children in accessing the curriculum as a Deaf Communication Support Worker
- Implement strategies to assist with language difficulties
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals to create an inclusive learning environment
- Build positive relationships with students to enhance their educational experience as a Deaf Communication Support Worker
Requirements:
- A 2:1 Degree or higher from a top UK University
- British Sign Language Level 3 or above
- Experience supporting deaf children with language difficulties
- Committed to high student achievement and tailored educational opportunities for each child
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to work effectively in a team
