apartmentInterpath Advisory placeLeeds scheduleFull-time calendar_month

We're looking for kind and committed individuals to join our growing Loan Portfolio Diligence team as a Senior Associate. Applicants should have experience in one or more of the following: loan underwriting; credit analysis; loan portfolio management; structured finance; lending policies and procedures; data verification.

Our senior team brings a great depth and variety of experience across the structured finance sector. We are building a market leading proposition and are looking for two senior associates to join us to help deliver and grow our business.

You will be involved in a diverse range of engagements, working with specialist lenders, high-street banks, funds and investment banks. Transactions range from asset-based lending, forward flows, private funding transactions, portfolio sales, significant risk transfers, and full public securitisations.

You'll be joining a recently established team in a fast-paced environment, with scope to learn, develop and influence our trajectory. As part of our wider Financial Services Debt Advisory team, you’ll have opportunities to work with adjacent teams to help build your skills and develop your network across the firm.

What you can expect from us:

  • Honesty and integrity – in all things, at all times
  • Exposure to a wide range of clients, asset types and financing structures
  • Coaching (where appropriate) on loan diligence, Excel modelling, funding structures and the underwriting process
  • Quality control – whilst you are responsible for your own output, the buck stops with the senior team
  • Professional development – on the job and formal training in both technical and transferrable skills
  • Support – in this specialist area, teams are small, and collaboration is key
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Self-motivation and engagement – in a hybrid working environment, this is key for success
  • Excellent communication skills – critical for keeping your team and clients up to date with progress
  • Attention to detail – we will be analysing large data sets
  • Numerate – we analyse numbers, summarise data and model cash flows
  • A desire to learn and develop – our experienced senior team has a wealth of skills and knowledge to share
  • Professional scepticism and curiosity – don’t take anything at face value
  • Honesty and integrity – we all have gaps in our skill set, we all make mistakes: let’s work on them together
