About LED Exeter Airport Hospitality Services:

Join our vibrant leadership team at Exeter Airport's Cove, Coastline Café, and Moorland Kitchen, where we provide exceptional
hospitality services to travellers. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Team Leader who can bring their expertise in food

and beverage operations to ensure the smooth running of our busy airport cafés.

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

  • Leadership and Team Management: You possess strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and lead by example.
You’re comfortable supervising a diverse team and ensuring operational standards are consistently met.
  • Operational Excellence: You have experience managing food and beverage services, including stock control, cash handling, and
ensuring smooth service delivery. Your proactive approach ensures efficient daily operations.
  • Problem-Solving and Initiative: Your ability to think on your feet and solve problems in real-time ensures that you can manage
any challenges that arise during the day-to-day running of the café.
  • Attention to Detail: Your meticulous attention to detail guarantees that all areas of the café are consistently maintained to
high standards, including adherence to Health and Safety and Food Hygiene regulations.
  • Flexibility and Reliability: With the café opening early, you are able to reliably access the airport for early morning shifts
starting at 3 am. To compensate for these early hours, we offer a £2 per hour uplift for shifts worked between 3 am and 6 am.
  • Customer Focused Approach: You are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and understand how to anticipate
and meet the diverse needs of our travellers.
  • IT and Admin Skills: Proficient in basic IT programs, particularly Word and Excel, you can handle administrative tasks

efficiently and ensure accurate record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Supervise the Team: Assist the General Manager and Duty Managers in overseeing the daily operations of our hospitality
services, ensuring the team is motivated, supported, and performing to the highest standard.
  • Operational Management: Manage the food and beverage service, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, stock
control, and customer service delivery.
  • Maintain Facility Standards: Ensure the café is clean, well-presented, and adheres to all Health and Safety, Fire, and Food
Hygiene regulations.
  • Compliance and Training: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain up-to-date training certifications for
yourself and your team, including Skillgate compliance and industry-standard safety training.
  • Support Security and Safety: Assist in maintaining the safety and security of the premises, ensuring compliance with Fire,

Health and Safety, and Food Hygiene standards.
