The PE Teacher will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering engaging physical education lessons to students. They will assess student progress, provide feedback, and encourage participation in various sports and activities. The teacher will also promote physical fitness and healthy lifestyles among students.
A valid teaching qualification in Physical Education (PE) is essential. The candidate must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a strong understanding of the national curriculum for PE.
A degree in Physical Education or a related field is required.
Previous experience teaching PE in a school setting is preferred.
Excellent communication skills, ability to motivate students, good organisational skills, and a passion for promoting physical activity.
Additional coaching qualifications or certifications in specific sports are advantageous.
The PE Teacher will work within a school environment, interacting with students, parents, and other teaching staff. They may also be responsible for organising extracurricular sports activities and events.
