MOT Tester

MOT Tester required for our Client’s busy multi-site garage, located in Southampton.

The salary of this role is up to £36,000 basic with OTE of £40,200.

MOT Testers play a huge role in our Client’s company, and they play a huge role in keeping our roads safe!

Responsibilities:

• The ability to communicate with customers effectively
• Carrying out MOT Failure rectification work as and when required
• Ensuring VOSA standards are met at all times.
• Complete fast fit tyre fitting and using an alignment machine – understanding relevant adjustments and readings.
• Applying strong mechanical knowledge to fit brakes, exhausts and other general parts.

Requirements:

• Hold a valid MOT Licence
• Preferably a NVQ Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or equivalent.
• Have previous working experience within the role
• Working collaboratively in a team environment.
• A Full UK Driving Licence
• A sound Mechanical knowledge
