The Role: To support a young professional gentleman living with Muscular Dystrophy, to live an exciting and fulfilling life. He requires 2 new members of staff to join his team for day and night shifts. This role is for day shifts.

Main Duties:

To provide all aspects of personal care
To use a hoist
To support to maintain a hygienic home (including laundry, cleaning, and tidying up etc)
Food and drink preparation
To support getting out of bed / going to bed each day
To attend Dr / hospital appointments as and when required
You will also be required to cover for colleagues on leave and sickness, and on occasions work extra hours, agreed in advance.
To assist to attend social events, such as meeting friends, day trips, and evening trips.

Punctual, and flexible
Suitable for a casual working environment but always remaining professional.

Car owner with driving license is essential

The employer enjoys television/film, travelling, music and sport.
Please note that this role may be subject to a DBS check, your employer may also ask for you to supply references.
You must be able to prove the right to work in the UK. No sponsorships are available.

Hours: Live-in care (week on week off) 8:30 - 20:30. Days can be flexible.

Hourly Rate: £13.50 per hour

Holidays: 5.6 weeks per year (pro rata) including Bank holidays
