P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking Production Technician to join their team based in Great Yarmouth on a full-time, permanent basis.
Role Summary: Due to continued growth our client has an exciting opportunity for a Production Technician to join their team.
Main Responsibilities:- Manufacturing and testing electrical and electronic assemblies.
- Comprehending electrical wiring diagrams.
- Following company build and test procedures.
- Assembly of systems, sub-components and panel wiring.
- Utilising Oscilloscopes and other electronics test equipment.
- Testing, fault finding and repairing basic Printed Circuit Boards to component level.
- Assembly, wiring, testing and fault-finding modules at system level.
- Assembly and inspection of underwater pressure vessel seals and connectors.
- Generation of technical reports on faulty & damaged items.
- Undertaking light mechanical assembly.
- Previous experience in a similar role essential.
- Ability to work safely and organised in a production environment.
- Willingness to develop practical and technical skills.
- Demonstrate a good working understanding of products at system level.
- Have sufficient working knowledge of PC/IT based systems: MS Office, supplier websites, HyperTerminal etc.
- Ability to work as an individual on systems and sub-assemblies.
- Demonstrate a good working understanding of products at system level.
- Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:00 (In busy period, these hours may change)
