We are seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives within Prime Video. In this role, you will collaborate with multiple engineering and product teams to deliver innovative solutions that drive data-driven decision-making.You will own end-to-end program delivery, ensuring technical solutions align with business priorities and long-term system goals. Key job responsibilities- Drive end-to-end delivery of cross-functional programs, from requirements definition through launch
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Data Engineers to align project scopes with product and business goals
- Participate in high-level architectural discussions to ensure design decisions account for system scalability and maintainability
- Identify technical dependencies and risks early, proposing solutions or escalation paths when needed
- Lead regular status updates, design reviews, and risk assessments, tailoring communication to different audiences and leadership levels
- Develop and maintain execution plans, including resource allocation, milestones, and success metrics
- Continually improve program workflows and processes to enhance velocity and reliability
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure integration points and dependencies are well-managed, minimizing impacts to delivery dates
- Document trade-offs and decisions to provide clarity and historical context for future initiatives
About the team
PVCAPs is a multi-disciplinary team of Software, Data, Business Intelligence Engineers and Product Management. We build tools that power data-driven decisions across Prime Video’s content lifecycle—from initial concept to post-launch performance.Our products users across crucial functions like Finance, Programming Strategy, and Marketing. We value a collaborative culture, deep technical exploration, and a commitment to delivering on behalf of our customers.- Experience in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience in technical program management working directly with software engineering teams
- Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
- Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to both technical and non-technical audiences- Experience in data analytics, especially with large-scale data pipelines
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) solutions and modern data-processing architectures
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and navigate ambiguous requirements
- Comfort collaborating across geographically distributed teams and stakeholders
- Experience optimizing project processes for improved speed, quality, and team alignment
