Financial Accountant
We are currently hiring for an Interim Financial Accountant to support a private equity-backed property group with year-end financial processes.
This role will involve overseeing the year-end financial closing process, conducting balance sheet reconciliations, and ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations.
Day to day:
- Produce financial reports for internal and external stakeholder.
- Prepare final accounts and manage cash.
- Implement audit recommendations.
- Line management responsibility for members of staff who support the post holder.
- Prepare statutory annual accounts in accordance with IFRS, the Annual Reporting Manual and the organisations accounting policies and procedures.
- Produce monthly trial balances & balance sheets and review all supporting control code reconciliations to ensure accuracy of the accounts at each reporting cycle.
We are looking for someone with direct experience in managing year-end financial processes, strong balance sheet reconciliations skills, and a professional accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA).
