A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Counter Fraud and Investigations Team Leader to join our Fraud Policy and Investigations team.
The team manages investigations, the counter fraud strategy, policy and response plans for the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA). We engage with operational business areas and are the primary contact point, for the Public Sector Fraud Authority (PSFA) and Department for Transport, on fraud matters.
You will lead a team of eight individuals, including direct reports. You will lead the team to undertake detailed investigations primarily on fraud and computer misuse allegations. This will include interviews - a minority of which will be under caution.You will also ensure the Agency is compliant with fraud functional standards.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
- Internal investigations and the fraud case panel process;
- Complex analysis and assessments to identify/mitigate fraud risks;
- Fraud functional standards compliance;
- Drafting official papers for counter fraud reporting including to the Department and other parts of government.

Additional Information
You will represent the Agency, and the Department, at meetings and events. Occasional travel, mainly to London, is required.
