To operate as a Biomedical Scientist specialising in Histopathological procedures. To be responsible for the efficient day-to-day running of all benches within histopathology. To rotate through all sections within Histopathology: main lab, cut-up/dissection, immunocytochemistry & the Mohs lab.
Provides advice and demonstrates all relevant procedures to new / inexperienced staff. To deputise for senior staff as required. Apply departmental quality system to all aspects of the work. Observe and apply the Directorate and Trust Health and Safety and Security policies.
