An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed Teacher of English to join the English faculty at Wardle Academy. The English faculty is a well established and supportive faculty with a real collaborative approach. We wish to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher, who has a passion for developing students’ knowledge to become culturally, socially and politically engaged in their communities and promotes the Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural development of students.You will maximise the potential of our students by raising their aspirations as well as their attainment.
This post would be suitable for both experienced and newly qualified teachers.

Wardle Academy has a strong tradition in music. Music tuition is free with over 250 students playing instruments. Our brass bands are nationally and internationally recognised. Our Youth band are the National and European Brass Band Champions for 2019.
The school is an active member of the REAL Trust, Pioneer Trust, the Manchester Nexus SCITT and Rochdale Pioneer Partnership SCITT (School Centred Initial Teacher Training) supporting education and training in schools across Rochdale and Greater Manchester.
