Business Manager

Music industry experience is preferred but not essential.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Prepare daily payments for manager/partner approval.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and prepare cashbooks.
• Manage data entry, including recording purchases and sales invoices.
• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and business management for clients.
• Prepare VAT returns and conduct royalty analysis.
• Liaise directly with clients or their management teams in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with tour accounting and tour tax work.
• Prepare year-end bookkeeping files and support the tax team with year-end accounts and tax returns.
• Prepare monthly management accounts.
• Oversee the work of Junior Bookkeepers and ensure quality control.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong Excel skills.
• Proven bookkeeping experience and proficiency with accounting software.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external clients.
• Capable of working effectively and efficiently on multiple jobs, adhering to time and budget constraints.
• Solid communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Great attention to detail.
• Music industry experience is preferred but not essential.
