School Business Manager (April 2025)
Based on the National Joint Council for Local Govt.
Salary SM4 £63,768 to £66,948 per annum, 36 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum – or SM5 for an exceptional candidate with substantial skills & experience as a School Business Manager.
Following the retirement of our fantastic Business Leader we are seeking to appoint an experienced individual, with the right blend of skills, talents, and values to become the Business Manager of Enfield County School for Girls, a high performing, 11-18 Girls Comprehensive School (mixed sixth form) in Enfield.The diversity of our school is one of our strengths with students from diverse faiths, cultures and backgrounds studying across our split lower and upper school sites.

As Business Manager, the successful applicant will have far reaching influence in how we support our young people, and we are looking for an exceptional candidate who puts student welfare and progress at the heart of everything they do; ensuring the strategic and financial management of our school, alongside the management of HR and staffing personnel matters, and facilities management to ensure the effectiveness of our school community.
Enfield County School for Girls’ Business Manager is an integral member of the Senior Leadership Team, driving constant improvement in partnership with senior colleagues. Our ideal candidate is someone who communicates clearly and confidently and who proactively seeks potential for positive change in both people and process, whilst modelling the values of the school.This role is based predominately at the upper site.
