Senior Campaign Manager – SCS Resourcing

The SCS resourcing team is a small team within the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) whose purpose is to deliver all Senior Civil Service (SCS) resourcing for DWP.
We provide bespoke advice to ensure that recruitment and selection is tailored to the nature of the role being advertised.
We are also committed to ensuring we provide the best candidate and vacancy holder experience for DWP’s SCS appointments.
As a senior campaign manager, you are responsible for being a subject matter expert in senior recruitment. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across DWP, providing advice and robust recommendations to resourcing related problems.
You will report to the SCS Resourcing Team Lead (G7) and will be responsible for line managing 2-3 team members (HEO and EO).

- Responsible for supporting campaign managers to lead and own their campaigns, whilst ensuring they provide a consistently excellent service to both candidates and hiring managers.
- Line manage campaign managers effectively, ensuring the team environment is a safe space, open to challenge.
- Accountable for leading the recruitment process for SCS2+ campaigns.
- Ensuring compliance with Civil Service Commission Recruitment Principles, DWP resourcing policies and employment law, proactively addressing issues and escalating concerns where required.
- Champion continuous improvement and support the successful implementation of business change by being proactive and innovative.
- Interpreting and analysing data, insight and evidence to inform recommendations and decisions on recruitment issues.
- Working collaboratively across the team, department and other government departments to understand and share wider resourcing trends.
