You will work for a well-known media publishing, digital and advertising business, based in the heart of central London. This company is seeking an ambitious, autonomous and passionate Management Accountant to join their existing, high-performing finance team.

Your new role

This company is seeking an ambitious, autonomous and passionate Management Accountant to join their existing, high-performing finance team. You will be responsible for multiple geographical regions, encompassing multiple revenue streams across publishing, consultancy, digital and advertising, as well as an exciting new venture on the horizon!

Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to)

  • Monthly Management Accounts preparation
  • Maintenance of the P&L including deferred and accrued revenue
  • Financial KPI analysis
  • Assisting with annual budgeting and annual re-forecasting
  • Balance sheet reconciliation
  • Maintaining the fixed asset register
  • Posting journals, prepayments and accruals
  • Month end close
  • WIP reconciliation
  • VAT and Tax return
  • Conducting meetings with stakeholders/heads of departments to review budgets, monthly budget re-forecasting
What you'll need to succeed
  • Recent, relevant experience working in a similar Management Accountant role.
  • You'll evidence strong stakeholder management experience and be confident presenting at this level.
  • You'll be a self-starter and problem-solver; someone who wants to grow, learn and progress in their career.
  • The successful candidate will be actively studying towards a professional accounting qualification (i.e. ACCA or CIMA) at either part qualified or finalist level.
  • You'll be able to adapt to different
communication styles (i.e. international).
  • International
experience is highly advantageous, particularly and understanding of the USA.
  • Fluent English is essential, additional languages are advantageous.

What you'll get in return

Flexible working options available; throughout the onboarding/probation period you will need to be in the office at least 3 days per week, but after that you will have a fully flexible hybrid working model, often only needing to go into the office 1 day per week.
