They are currently looking ideally for a qualified Refrigeration /Electrical Engineer to join the team.
About the Job:As a Refrigeration Electrical Engineer at Abraxas, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration and electrical systems for various projects. Your primary focus will be to ensure the safety and reliability of these systems while adhering to all regulatory standards and guidelines.
You will work closely with a team of engineers and technicians to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
The Responsibilities:- Installing and commissioning new electrical, refrigeration in commercial kitchens
- Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of existing systems.
- Troubleshooting and repairing Refrigeration and electrical system faults.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborating with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Providing technical support and expertise to clients and colleagues.
- Keeping accurate records of work performed and materials used using the handheld device.
- Participating in ongoing training and professional development activities.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of our engineering processes and practices.
- Must have City & Guilds in electrical installations
- Experience of working as a Refrigeration Electrical Engineer would be a bonus
- Proven experience working as an Electrical Engineer in a similar role.
- Good knowledge of electrical installations and/or repair. Knowledge of refrigeration systems are a bonus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Willingness to travel to project sites and work flexible hours as required.

- No on call work at present – in fact the company would rather not work weekends and would prefer you to spend time with your family and friends!
