We are currently looking for Business Analysts / Data Migration Specialists to join a multi-person team supporting our investment banking client across EMEA.

Responsibilities:

While the scope of each project may be different, your duties & responsibilities may include:

• Conduct detailed business analysis to define requirements and ensure alignment with the target system.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to confirm business logic, use cases, and field mappings between the old and new systems.
• Document business requirements, functional specifications, and field definitions, ensuring consistency with migration needs.
• Validate current data to ensure consistency and completeness according to migration requirements.
• Implement data integrity checks, including automated reconciliation, to guarantee the accuracy of migrated data.
• Perform validation of data sources to ensure they meet predefined migration standards for a smooth transfer.
• Execute SQL queries to extract and compare datasets, identifying discrepancies and data quality issues.
• Provide insights on data integrity and quality, helping define the migration strategy and addressing issues promptly.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to develop test plans, test cases, and migration plans for system testing and UAT.
• Lead the migration of data, troubleshooting and resolving any data issues during the migration process.

Qualifications:

• Strong educational background – Degree (Masters would be an advantage)
• 2+ years experience in a similar role for an investment bank / financial institution or consultancy
• Strong Business Analyst skillset, with the ability to clearly define business requirements and document functional specifications related to the data migration project.
• Proven experience with loan systems, ideally ACBS and Loan IQ
• Strong understanding of complexities involved in loan data migration.
• Experience migrating data from legacy systems to new platforms, as well as cloud environments such as Snowflake, is ideal.
• Technically minded, with strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, analysis, comparison, and validation.
• Excellent communication skills across all levels of seniority
• Strong interpersonal skills, with good relationship building and engagement skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
