Chief Technology Officer (Fintech - Part-Time Temporary)

This role is an ongoing temporary position with part-time hours of circa 2-3 days a week.
Duties of the Chief Technology Officer to include:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives.
- Service Provider Management: Oversee and manage relationships with external technology service providers, ensuring optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
- IT Roadmap Development & Execution: Create and manage the IT roadmap, prioritising projects to support business growth and technological advancement.
- Cybersecurity & Compliance: Implement and maintain a robust cybersecurity framework, including risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response. Lead and manage all cybersecurity audits and compliance initiatives (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR).
- Infrastructure Management: Ensure the stability, reliability, and scalability of the company’s IT infrastructure.
- Data Management: Oversee data governance, data security, and data analytics initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the technology team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Budget Management: Manage the technology budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Due Diligence: Perform technical due diligence on potential partnerships and acquisitions.
Requirements for the successful Chief Technology Officer:
- Proven experience as a CTO or senior technology leader within the fintech or financial services industry.
- Extensive experience in managing complex IT infrastructure and service provider relationships.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices, including experience with audits and compliance regulations (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR).
- Strong track record of developing and executing successful IT roadmaps.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
