We are seeking a proactive and experienced Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our clients office in Norwich city centre. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to maintaining high standards of office efficiency and employee satisfaction.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Oversee and support all administrative duties in the office and ensure that the office is operating smoothly.
  • Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.
  • Perform receptionist duties: greet visitors, and manage correspondence including answering phones, sending emails, and sorting mail.
  • Coordinate space planning and office moves, as well as manage office upkeep and maintenance.
  • Manage office budget and expenses.
  • Organise office events, meetings, and employee team building activities, leveraging your experience in events management to enhance these functions.
  • Implement office policies and procedures, and ensure they are followed by staff.
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including setting up workstations and onboarding sessions.
  • Liaise with facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering, and security services.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager or Administrative Manager.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks.
  • Comfortable handling confidential information.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving.
