Test and Support Engineer
Salary
£20,000 - £25,000 per year (flexible depending on experience and level of training required) plus on call payments.
Contract
We are looking for a lively, enthusiastic and dynamic Test & Support Engineer to join us. You will be the first point of contact for our customers and suppliers answering support queries via phone, email and the support desk. We are looking for a candidate with a willingness to learn and assist others in a role that changes on a day to day basis.

Pay: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

Contract
- Permanent/Full time.
- 40 hours per week.
- We provide 24/7 support to our customers and therefore there would be on-call / weekend /bank holiday work on a rota basis.
- Hybrid working - must be commutable to Farnborough as workload dictates for in office days.
- Must have the right to live and work in the UK.

You will be the first point of contact for our customers and suppliers answering support queries via phone, email and the support desk. We are looking for a candidate with a willingness to learn and assist others in a role that changes on a day to day basis.
Responsibilities
- Providing support for the company's product range via telephone, email and support platforms.
- Testing of new projects, releases, or changes requested by customers.
- Being the first point of contact for all support issues.
- Testing, investigating and owning issues raised by customers and providing developers with details to enable a quick resolution.
- Follow documented procedures for customer support, identifying and suggesting improvements where necessary.
- Educated to a minimum level of 5 GCSE’s (Graded 4-9/A-C) including Maths and English.
- Basic understanding of computers and common software (e.g. Microsoft Office).
- Experience in an application/software/1 or 2 line support position.
- Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
- SQL and Linux experience (or willingness to learn).
- Any IT related education or certification.
- Previous experience or knowledge of the betting / gaming industry.
- Experience of working with e Commerce and web based platforms.
- Knowledge of working with tools such as Atlassian Jira.
- Flexible working hours.
- 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays. Rest days allocated in lieu of any weekends or Bank Holidays worked.
