An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to provide support to a young lady with additional needs within her own home and to access the local community.We are looking for a mature, caring, proactive and motivated individual with a passion for supporting others.
As a Personal Assistant, your duties will include: assisting with access to the local community. Enabling independence and participating in outside activities. Personal care.Wheelchair user at times, especially when out in the community and she is tube fed – training will be given in this area.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential, but a positive attitude and good work ethic is essential. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A driver with a full clean license is required and you must have access to your own vehicle.
This is a part time position for 12hrs in term time and 16hrs non-term time (school holidays).Hourly rate of £11.44 plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave and workplace pension scheme.
One of the requirements is Saturday working. The other hours can be discussed at interview.
