Responsibilities:

  • Assisting solicitors in handling casework from inception to completion.
  • Conducting legal research and preparing case summaries.
  • Drafting legal documents, including witness statements, pleadings, and contracts.
  • Managing case files and ensuring all documentation is up to date.
  • Liaising with clients and third parties to gather information and provide updates.
  • Supporting solicitors with administrative tasks such as filing, billing, and diary management.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm-wide policies.

What will help you succeed in this role? :

  • Previous experience as a Paralegal in a legal environment (preferred but not essential).
  • A law degree or equivalent qualification (LPC desirable but not mandatory).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with a strong willingness to learn.
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
