Job Overview: We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Psychology Graduate to work as a Teaching Assistant in primary schools. This role is ideal for individuals looking to apply their psychological knowledge in a hands-on educational setting, supporting the emotional and academic development of children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities.
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students, promoting engagement and understanding.
- Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support students with special educational needs, using your psychology background to tailor approaches.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related field.
- Strong understanding of child development and learning theories.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
- Previous experience in educational settings (preferred but not required).
