Engineering Shift Supervisor - Wigan

Our client is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Engineering Shift Supervisor to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing engineering operations during your designated shift, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of their facilities.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise a team of engineering staff, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Ensure all documents, including maintenance records, service reports, and vehicle documentation, are up-to-date and in good order.
• Maintain compliance with Company health & safety policies and procedures, ensuring all engineering activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices to promote a safe working environment for all employees.
• Ensuring that our fleet of vehicles receives maintenance and service according to the high standards of both the Company and the Department of Transport
Requirements:
• A Full Manual car license is required, and having a PCV license is preferred.
• We need someone who can adapt their schedule to meet the changing demands of this role.
• While having a relevant professional qualification is preferred, we welcome applications from skilled vehicle technicians.
• Due to the diverse nature of the role, showcasing strong prioritization, decision-making, and organizational skills is essential.
