The Emergency Department (ED), Urgent Care (UTC) and Adult Assessment Unit (AAU) administrator(s) at Barnet Hospital are responsible for providing a front-line reception service and administrative function to the hot floor (ED / UTC + AAU) and for delivering a high standard of customer care to a wide range of client groups, including the ward’s multi-disciplinary team, patients, relatives and their carers.

The Royal Free London Foundation NHS Trust, is an organisation with a real sense of community as we actively support and develop our staff to ensure our patients receive the best quality care. Join our team and support our vision of delivering the right care first time, every time.

The post holder will be expected to work dynamically across both areas of the hot floor in the ED and AAU clinical spaces.

The ward clerk will be directly supervised on a day-to-day basis and is responsible for the management and prioritisation of their own workload.

The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK’s biggest and most innovative trusts. Across three main hospitals, our dedicated army of staff care for over 1.6million patients, treat more than 200,000 in A&E, deliver over 8,000 babies and carry out more than 17million tests.
