- Plan, organise and manage own workload to ensure your contribution to the company’s monthly financial reporting process is achieved in a timely and accurate manner
- Assist the Finance Manager the preparation of the monthly consolidated management accounts, you will be responsible for prepayments, accruals, deferred income, deferred cost & the P & L.
- Reconcilie key balance sheet accounts.
- Perform variance analysis on a monthly basis and review of actual to budget results
- Have full ownership of the fixed asset registers including calculating depreciation, disposal log & equipment allocation.
- Calculate and review sales commission this will involve liaising with the account managers about their commission plans and resolve commission queries raised by the account managers.
- Analysing data using spreadsheet techniques to maintain invoicing and monthly revenue processes
- Manage the invoicing process of a key customer.
- Provide support to the payables and receivables processes as required
- Manage the invoicing for one of the key customers
- You’ll get involved in our drive towards social progress where possible. Whether that’s getting involved in one of our community projects or simply buying local when travelling with the company.
- AAT qualified
- Qualified/part qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
- Good understanding of accounting processes and procedures
- Advanced spreadsheet skills and high-level numerical skills and ability to interpret data quickly
- High level of attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Ability to identify actions designed to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
