The Role Unveiled

Are you looking to kickstart your career in project management? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where every day brings new challenges and opportunities to learn and grow? If so, we want YOU to join our team as an Apprentice Project Administrator!

At thebigword, we're committed to nurturing talent and providing hands-on experience to aspiring professionals like you. As an Apprentice Project Administrator, you'll work closely with our seasoned project management team to support the successful delivery of exciting projects across our Translation Division.

Your Role in Action
  • Embark on a pursuit to complete your Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship (takes approx. 15 months, 12 months with 3 months to complete end point assessment) with Juice Talent & Development as the Apprenticeship Provider, conquering challenges and achieving greatness within the specified time period.
  • Support our project management team, completing administration tasks with finesse and precision, while providing invaluable support to your teammates.
  • Race against the clock to ensure timely completion of tasks, following the guidance of our esteemed project management team and delivering results that dazzle and impress.
  • Champion quality in all your endeavours, raising questions and seeking guidance from the project management team to ensure excellence in every task you undertake.
  • Become a master of time management, skilfully logging your efforts and ensuring accurate records of your contributions to our team's success.
  • Harness your problem-solving prowess to tackle challenges head-on, troubleshooting issues with confidence and escalating when necessary to overcome obstacles and achieve victory.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with our internal clients, becoming a trusted ally and forging bonds that will stand the test of time.
  • Collaborate closely with a diverse array of internal and external resources, from Translators to Engineers to Proof-readers and beyond, ensuring seamless coordination and timely delivery of projects that leave our clients delighted.

  • Enthusiasm and eagerness to learn and grow in the field of project management.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
  • It would be great if you also have an interest in the language services industry!
The important parts
  • The programme has certain eligibility criteria, as required by the government. The rules are quite extensive but, in short, people can apply if they’ve had the right to work in the UK for the past three years
  • Learners must either hold GCSE C / Level 4 English and maths qualifications, Level 2 Functional Skills in English and maths or be able to achieve an equivalent qualification before they can complete their programme.
