Polytec are looking for an enthusiastic Embedded Software Developer to debug complex real time issues for our client based just north of Cambridge.
Responsibilities:
- Requirements analysis
- Design
- Implementation
- Developer Test
- Fault fixing
Requirements:
- Degree in a relevant discipline
- Excellent knowledge of a variety of programming languages (C, C++, Java, Kotlin)
- Experience with real-time, multi-processor, multi-threaded, event-driven software
- Embedded Linux Kernel and user-space software development experience of a commercially released product
- Excellent debugging skills
- Experience with development tools for debugging, profiling, code coverage, memory leak detection
- Experience of using configuration management and fault tracking tools
- Innovative with proven ability to generate new ideas and approaches to problems
