I am an adult female ambulatory wheelchair user. I work as an academic in a University. I am looking for a Personal Assistant to work up to 2 days per week. Days would vary week to week (but two weeks notice will be given). Hours will be 9am-6pm. Full liability insurance.

• driving my WAV vehicle (automatic) between my home in Leeds LS6 and work in Bradford BD7
• helping me get out of car and into work building (power wheelchair)
• accompanying me to various meetings at workplace
• assistance with basic tasks throughout the day (fetching drinks and food; opening doors etc.)
• no personal care needed

• full clean driving licence
• Unique Tax Reference number (10 digit number used for tax self assessment)

• someone who is accustomed to talking about intellectual topics (after all we'll be spending quite a lot of time in each other's company!)

Key Responsibilities

• Support to remain independent

• Full UK driving license
• Can drive a motability equipped car
