SEN Teaching Assistant

An inclusive and welcoming primary school located in Brent is currently looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to start ASAP.
As a SEN TA, you will be working within KS1/Year 1, and some of your day-to-day duties will include:- Supporting and working 1:1 with key children to reach the targets on their EHCPs
- Providing pupils with a range of learning strategies
- Supporting non-verbal children with Speech and Language activities
- Delivering/assisting with the delivery of learning interventions, 1:1 and in small groups
- Encouraging development of vocabulary through speech, reading and writing
- Supporting children with SEND in an inclusive environment
- Closely monitoring the academic and social progress of key children
- Liaising with and giving feedback to teaching staff and senior leaders
