The Role
Mathematics at FPHS is a valued subject. The department is fully staffed with specialist teachers who are all committed to teaching for understanding and the five big ideas of teaching for mastery. As part of the NCETM north west one hub you will have access to on-going professional learning that is embedded in the way that we work at FPHS.Mathematical thinking is embraced by our young people and this is evident in their dedication to the subject.
As a teacher in this area, you will play a pivotal role in helping to shape a strong, positive and successful learning experience for all of our pupils, as well as being part of a team who are dedicated to ensuring that we deliver learning that leads to all being: Encouraged to Aspire, Equipped to Thrive, and Empowered to Succeed.
