Lead Office Administration Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Wyedean following the current job holder’s retirement after 18 years in the post to join a friendly administrative team, providing an efficient point of contact within our reception.You will be experienced in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel and have the ability to handle sensitive and confidential data and exercise discretion at all times.

Previous experience within an education setting would be advantageous.

Job overview

To assist in the provision of efficient and effective school administration, including the Sixth Form. Will be required to drive efficiency in the front office. Will distribute work and direct Administration Assistants. Will ensure a high level of professionalism within as first point of contact and be an ambassador for Wyedean’s vision and ethos.

This post is responsible for overseeing and communication both school and community wide and Sixth Form administration InterviewsWeek commencing 15 October

Job requirements

Minimum of a grade C in GCSE Maths and English

Ability to prioritise tasks on a day-to-day basis

Experience of using information management systems and strong IT skills

A high level of verbal and written communication standards

Proven ability to show reliability and to work to meet key deadlines
